Serve Wenatchee, as well as our community, has recently been blessed with refugees from various countries. They have been brought in by other family members, community volunteers, and word of mouth from people who just want to help. Because of your love, prayers, hard work, and dedication, these lovely, yet also frightened families are being cared for in positive ways. They have the dignity of shopping for food in the Fresh Hope Market, to keep their families fed. Upon gaining housing, they are coming to shop for furniture and other housing necessities to make things feel more like “home.” Some of these people had to flee with very little. Through working with another non-profit organization in town, they have been given the resource of clothing vouchers to be able to shop for clothing for themselves and their families. What a mighty God we serve and what an amazing community we are blessed to be a part of.
