On Saturday, August 10th, Serve Wenatchee will have our annual Clothes for the Classroom event in collaboration with Columbia Valley Community Health, who will be providing backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. This event will be held at Columbia Grove Covenant Church. Our goal is to provide 1,000 children with new clothes, including jeans, shirts, shoes and socks.

Would you help us make this event a success? Here are some ways you can participate:

• Provide Volunteers: This event requires a large amount of manpower. There are numerous opportunities to assist in the week leading up to the event and on event day itself.

• Donate: Through strategic purchasing and cooperation with local retailers, we can provide a new set of clothes and shoes for just $35 per child. To reach our goal of helping 1,000 children, we need to raise $35,000 to make this happen.
